Smart Dressing in Khaki and Pink for Cooler Spring Days
Smart dressing made upwards of warm layers is all very well in bound, but we're experiencing several seasons every few days hither in the UK… it's messing up my outfit posts!
Not reeeeeally messing up as such, just showing everything out of sync with the current conditions. Last week I featured the psychedelic floral print apparel I wore for the mini heatwave we had at the end of April, and when I hit publish the temperatures had dropped once again. They dropped and so much that I had to clothing today's outfit of suedette jacket and checked trousers, and as much equally I love it(!) I'm posting information technology but after nosotros had yet another mini heatwave over the banking concern holiday weekend. So I'm completely out of sync, but that's what y'all get for beingness alee of yourself with your outfit posts: the unpredictable British conditions playing havoc with your posting schedule!
It'due south no large deal seeing every bit the temperatures are set to drop over again (are you keeping up?) – so I'll be back to wearing outfits that expect more like this by the stop of the week, don't y'all worry.
Now I come across this outfits in the pictures I tin run into but how nicely khaki and pinkish become together. The trousers are pretty neutral and the scarf is a bit on the lilacy-pink side; information technology shows off all the shades of blush pink and the soft khaki in the outfit. I featured this jacket in Dec and I KNEW information technology would be a winner for spring. I've worn it so much already – normally when I've needed something smart that's non a run-of-the-manufacturing plant biker or denim jacket.

Whenever I vesture these fringed loafers from Asos (the Gucci Marmont dupes) I'm always asked where I got them. I'chiliad finding information technology harder to find something similar every time I wait for alternatives, I'm so pitiful if you're loving them as much as I love mine. They're Then comfy, and I actually wish I'd bought them in black when they were available. But at that place's something about the pink that calls my name more than than black… no surprise there, eh?

The next 1 will be on 28 May, so the post will go out on Tuesday 29 May.
I'k certain none of you will begrudge me wanting to actually take a day off, will you lot (I hope not, lol)!
